The Rhone-Alpes Pavilion at the Urban Best Practices Area is inviting visitors to sip free wine from the Rhone Valley and attend sessions where they can learn about wine-tasting.
Professors from the University of Suze-la-Rousse (the wine university in the Rhone Valley) will attend the sessions.
The event will run through July 24.
The Rhone wine region in Southern France is situated in the Rhone valley. It is generally divided into two sub-regions with distinct vinicultural traditions – the north and south. The northern sub-region produces red wines from the Syrah grape, sometimes blended with white wine grapes, and white wines from Viognier grapes. The southern sub-region produces an array of red, white and rose wines.
