La Rioja, a Spanish region well-known for its red wines, is offering several wine testings for the public at the Spain Pavilion in celebrate of La Rioja Week.
Visitors will be told in Chinese and English about the differences and details of four different wines at a time, which are available on the Chinese market.
La Rioja in the north of Spain is a region of barely 5,045 square meters, about the same size as Shanghai’s urban area of Shanghai, but it is also home to more than 500 wineries. Wineries in La Rioja vary in size, some small and family-owned, some larger with museums and organized tours for visitors.
At today's press conference, eco-friendly projects in the region's city of Logrono were also promoted.
