German Pavilion will host Lower Saxon Days from July 5 to 11 with a performance from the boys' choir of Hannover, the ensemble Musica Alta Ripa and a modern rap-oper by the Musical Centre Hannover.
In the city of Hannover’s UBPA Pavilion, it will organise a temporary exhibition about "Expo 2000 - ten years later" from July 9 to 11. The Expo 2000 was held in Hannover.
During Lower Saxon Days, the German Pavilion will also exhibit the photo blending device made by Schüler der Goetheschule Hannover and its sister school Shanghai Wuai High School as well as photos of the urban planning of the two cities.
The photos created from the device will compare housing, energy supply, garbage disposal, leisure time planning as well as dining traditions between typical Chinese and German families. The device adopted the multitouch technology to enable audiences to drag or locate photos in a virtual city map on screens.
Experts will also be invited to discuss on sustainable urban development.
The performances will be held at stage and event area of the German Pavilion.
