Fuzhuang

Fuzhuang

This area is called Lord Bao's Academy. It was built in 1983 and renovated in the year 2000. It covers more than 20 acres and it is adjacent to Lord Bao's Tomb and the Qingfeng Chamber. It consists of a group of buildings such as tea houses, pools, pavilions and bridges. Its architectural style combines the features of Jiangnan landscape garden and Huizhou style architecture. The name Fuzhuang was given by former Defence Minister Zhang Aiping who was a general. The buildings surrounded by water seem to flow on the surface.

How to get there: Travellers can take buses No. 6, 11, 28, 47, 106, 109 and 134 to get there.
