Discover unknown Czech regions

Visitors to the Czech Pavilion will be able to taste some specialties and meals from the country's 14 regions, like South Moravian wines, Radegast and Zlatopramen beers, alcoholic beverage Stara myslivecka and gingerbread from Pardubice, as CzechTourism is promoting the nation’s tourism from July 12 to 21.

The promotion is held at the multimedia hall of the Czech Pavilion.

Chinese tourists are the fastest growing international clientele and 62,000 Chinese visitors came to Czech last year, according to the Association of Travel Agencies of Czech.

CzechTourism wants to show visitors that Czech Republic is a very diverse country and that each of the 14 regions has much to offer to even the most demanding tourists, said Paul Kosar, acting director of CzechTourism.

The peak day will be July 17, when folk music, Czech songs of the 1930s and a modern combination of classical and beat music will be performed at European Square.
