Perched on a hill overlooking the Jialing River in the west of the city, Ciqikou Ancient Town can dates back to the late Ming Dynasty. The buildings have been restored and well preserved. Along the streets are shops, restaurants selling visitors souvenirs and local snacks. There are several tea houses that feature daily performances of traditional Chinese music.
