Artists from Canada have been staging a musical fiesta at the America Square and the Entertainment Hall until August 14.
Eugene Draw, a violinist from Ontario, brought a rich repertoire ranging from rock, pop, classical, electronic to fusion and new funk. Shane Yellowbird, a country music singer from Hobbema, and Ariane Moffatt, a popular francophone singer from Quebec, are among the artists performing at the two Expo venues every evening from 7:30.
A gala show, called "My Shanghai Premiere," will be presented at the Entertainment Hall in the Puxi section of the Expo site tomorrow from 7:30pm to 9pm. All these artists will participate.
Mark Rowswell, Canada's Commissioner General for Expo 2010, hosted a talk show with these artists yesterday at the Canada Pavilion.
