Nsanze highly commented on the work by the Expo organiser. He said that Burundi has brought its typical farm and fishery products, traditional medicines, industrial goods and handicrafts to Shanghai to look for more investment from Chinese corporations.
Hua introduced that Burundi’s gifts of nature and its people's handicrafts illustrate the pavilion’s theme "Co-existence and Interaction between Man and Nature." He said that Burundi will share its achievements in sustainable development and successful experience regarding the win-win relationship between Burundi and China.
Burundi's world-famous drum artists Tambour Sacre du Burundi and renowned dancers in traditional costumes performed at the ceremony.
